As a School-Based Therapist in Nystrom & Associates Community Based division, you'll work in our CTSS (Children's Therapeutic Support Services) program. You will have the opportunity to implement high-quality, culturally-sensitive mental health services to children and adolescents in the school setting. Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to:
- Provide culturally responsive mental health skills to children, adolescents and their families in a school setting
- Assist children, adolescents and their families in identifying goals for functional improvement and work with them to meet their goals
- Design and implement treatment/intervention reflective of the child's needs
- Work collaboratively with the school district, school personnel divisions, and other community-based agencies
- Provide psychoeducation to school staff
- Design and implement therapeutic groups for students
- Receive clinical supervision from a qualified staff, and obtain continuing education units
- Employees pursuing professional licensure are eligible to participate in Nystrom & Associates' Professional Development Track. The Professional Development Track gives early career therapists the opportunity to work as an Outpatient Therapist after 9 months of providing School-Based services. This track also has a specific focus on continuing education and an emphasis on training and advancement.

Requirements
Qualifications:
- In order to be considered for this position, you must be qualified in at least one of the following ways:
- Meet the Clinical Trainee requirements per MN State Statute 245I.04.06
- Has completed an accredited graduate program of study to prepare the staff person for independent licensure as a mental health professional
- Meet the Mental Health Professional requirements per MN State Statue 245I.04.02
- Licensed as a LICSW, LMFT, LPCC, or LP in Minnesota
- Meet the Clinical Trainee requirements per MN State Statute 245I.04.06
- Ability to work independently; Valid driver's license/auto insurance/reliable vehicle
- Must be proficient in the use of computers, specifically Microsoft Word, Excel and the use of email
